How AO Marketplace handles your information
Last updated 17 September 2026
AO Marketplace is run by the Australian Open creator team at Tennis Australia ("we", "us"). It is a members-only site where AO partners' opportunities are listed for creators and managers in the AO COLLECTIVE. This page explains what we hold about you, why, and who sees it.
What we hold
- Your member record, added by the AO team when you join the collective: name, email address, whether you are a creator or a manager, your main social handle or agency, and interest tags (for example "fashion") used to decide which opportunities you are shown.
- Your applications: the talent's name, social handles, audience size, your message, and your answer to any question the partner asked.
- Sign-in and security records: when you last signed in, and the internet address sign-in requests came from, which we use only to limit repeated attempts.
- Copies of the emails we send you: sign-in links, "job is live" notices and application receipts.
We do not ask for passwords, payment details or access to your social accounts. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we hold it
To let you sign in, show you the opportunities meant for you, email you when one goes live, and pass your applications to the partner offering the job.
Who sees it
- The AO team sees everything above.
- The partner behind a job you apply for receives your application for that job: the talent's name, handles, audience size, message and answer, plus the name, role and email address of whoever submitted it. Partners do not see the member list, and they see nothing about jobs you did not apply for.
- Other members never see you or your applications.
- Service providers that run the site for us: Fly.io hosts the site and its database in Sydney, and Resend delivers our emails. Resend is based in the United States, so your name and email address pass through systems there when we email you.
We do not sell your information or use it for anything other than AO Marketplace and the AO COLLECTIVE.
Cookies
One cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out removes it. There are no tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Turn "job is live" emails on or off from your profile, where you can also correct your name and handle.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Deleting removes your member record, your applications and our copies of emails sent to you. Applications already passed to a partner before then remain with that partner.
How long we keep it
While you are part of the AO COLLECTIVE. Ask us at any time and we will delete it.
